And don't get me started on fucking text messages. A fucking text message? I'll stick to emails thanks. Fucking apple and their fucking phones. Fuck off. The fuck man.
I'm in tears.
In regards to the multitasking SMS scenario, ibitesms, irealsms and other 3rd party applications already allow you to do a quick-reply or quick-compose within applications (for anyone wanting this feature now). It's on cydia but they're available free through certain repositories.

1gz compared to 600mhz
Is this the case though? The processor speed wasn't announced at the conference and the popular blogs are also saying they have no idea what the speed will be. I can see it being under-clocked to preserve battery life tbh.

Yeah but blackberrys look toss and are too cluttered for my liking. I like shiney things that look nice and are simple to use.
Im sure Blackberrys are great for geeks who want to h4x0r the world but i just want to mess around with my gyroscope.

True, most news sites are just quoting it as "nearly double".
Some just say "Apple A4" and don't mention the speed, and one did say 1ghz.
It'll definitely be quicker than the 3gs.

My blackberry allows me to reply to a message as and when I want to..It allows me to "minimize" the application in use, and continue when I want. I can't say it's much of a big deal tbh, I thought apple would have done this from the beginning.
So what you are saying about the video calls, is because people use it on their computers, they will want to have their phone in front of their face as they call someone.. Sounds bizarre. That's all.
have you ever chatted to someone on webcam?
it's the same as that.
Yes but..on my phone?? I'd rather just do a voice call, without the video call.

My push email has gone rather slow recently, was quick when I first started with them.

Blackberrys have no place in this world if they don't have any means to communicate directly with a Exchange server IMO

John Blackberries have bbm, easier setup for the push email for people who arent techy.
We sell far more Blackberries than Androids.
Videocalls will kick off with the advent of Skype etc, far cheaper and excellent quality. Itl take a while but i think its a great feature

I hope everyone here has got the free app called Knocking Live Video? It's exactly like FaceTime. Except, you can only watch one way at a time, there's no sound, and you can do it over 3G as well.. Ok no so a lot similar, but check it out

If it's somebody who can't even follow the nokia wizard that's fair enough, getting it set up for them with blackberry would be a benefit, outside of that though they are really bad, a lot of people only use them because they don't know any better, if they knew a nokia or whatever could do the same job better I don't think they'd stay with blackberry.
The way it connects to corporate email is crap and expensive.

I prefer my Blackberry over mates iPhones and a couple of mates who have had Nokias have just had issue after issue with them! So I'll be sticking with Blackberrys! Works fine for emails, facebook and BB Messenger which are the main things I use aside to texts and calls.

Im not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but in my earlier post a few pages back, I mentioned you could recycle your iphone for £251 (This morning).
Ive just checked again and its now offering £247, which makes me think as people jump on the bandwagoon and inundate them with 3G's and 3GS's, the price will be dropping!

I said this earlier.
As soon as the new one is released/pre-order the prices will drop like a stone.

I'm also looking forward to the next one, might mean the prices are actually sensible enough for me to get an iPhone and ditch my ipod touch
