No chance now from what I'm hearing. EE's website is fucked up for me, says I can upgrade from August, but won't actually let me click on the option? I'm going to have to go in-store tomorrow I think. I'm hearing 'up to 30 days' delivery for most handsets now.

Just ordered mine, didn't see the point in going for the plus as I don't travel a lot and the only reason I can see a use for a screen that big is for watching movies whilst traveling ect

20gb of data though! Whilst I don't pay anywhere near the stated price my original line rental was about £40 and I get 2gb of data!

EE are so expensive, and they manage to make a mess of the iphone launch. Nothing changes it seems

how are they even allowed to charge so much on contact
£30 + 24x51 = 1254 - handset @ 539 = £715
so that's 29.79 month for 2gb & unlimited minutes/texts
for the sme sim only deal over 12 months (not 24) - £20
making £235+ extra profit of the line rental - to add to the profit they are already making off the line rental - just because it's an iPhone
going to also assume that ee dont pay rrp on the phones...

I'm grandfathered into my sim only deal with Three which gets me unlimited data for £12.90 a month. After trading in my phone each year the new ones tend to only cost £200ish.
Can't see me having a contract again for a while.

I was considering SIM only too but the maximum data you can get on EE is 4Gb... I seem to regularly use around 5Gb. I could do it, but I don't want to be thinking about my usage each month, paying for the peace of mind really. 10Gb will do the job lovely

What tariff / deal have you gone for? I ended up with the 16 gig never filed one so didn't need any more , £129 for the phone and £38 a month 4g with 2 gig data. There recycling my current phone to for £130 so the handset is free really, did have to pay £50 to upgrade early though but don't mind that.
