I had a snap on clear back on my iPad 2 off eBay for £1.99 and a screen protector, was immaculate when I sold it but the protector did make the screen look rubbish after a while.

Then the back gets scratched to bits. Plus the smart cover gets really annoying after a while you end up just taking it off completely everytime you want to use it.

They do it for you in the Apple Store

I had a screen protector on my iPhone for about 2 minutes before ripping it off.
No point having fancy glass and one of the best displays about to have a layer of something else on top.
I like stuff to be kept immaculate so this presents a dilemma.

Wouldn't feel the same if it was covered in scratches
I like to know it will always be like new. Plus its easier to get rid of when you want to.

I'm going to Florida in 2 weeks, tempted even if it's to sell it on for ~£50-70 profit.
John I'm the same, ripped mine off straight away too. I got a sleeve for mine (phone anyway) like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-LEATHER-SLEEVE-CASE-SKIN-POUCH-APPLE-IPHONE-4-4G-4S-/330649443864?pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item4cfc3e1e18#ht_3652wt_1270
Something similar for my laptop;
Non-gay colours though, I'd get one that's made of the same material as the laptop case but can slide in like the phone case.
EDIT: £250 for the iPad 2 too

So how many people are picking up on the "Quad Core Graphics"
Notice the specific wording. They are very careful when every they talk about it. Whats the betting as expected the A5X is still a Dual Core CPU with a Quad Code GPU bolted onto it.??

It says so on their webpage, so I'm fairly sure it's not a big secret...
