Yes the Note 2.
Actually makes the S3 look a reasonable size.

Are you joking me?? Not much difference.
Nope no joke; there really is a fair amount of difference in size between then two...

Neither make particularly good use of the large screen, look at all the wasted space, might as well be 4".
But then I guess that's what you get when the same software is designed to be used by 3" screens as well as 5.5" and even tablets.
Same for iPhone 5, aside from the extra row of icons the larger screen doesn't really add any benefit.

There's a different interface for tablets.

Fair enough, maybe they should use that interface on the Note 2

One minute giving grief to anyone that doesn't own a iPhone, next minute you're purchasing an 'unholy' device - Wa'the fuck happened to you Ash
Now that you've got an S3, i bet you're secretly like...

Love that.
Never given grief to anyone that doesn't own an iPhone, infact never given grief to anyone. Couldn't care less what phone other people have
Happy to give credit where it's due, whether that be for Apple or anyone else.

Come off it, up until you got rid of your iPhone you were the biggest fanboi on CS
Either way, glad you're liking the S3

My honest opinion is that when i use the 5 after the S3 it feels dated, even if technically it isnt.
Besides you can have live wallpapers

If you want £150 back in your pocket (or £300 if you get a normal one) yes.
Is it better than iPhone, debatable, but it is good.

My honest opinion is to see if you can play with one for a few hours or at least have a go, as it isn't (especially Android) for everyone.
Certainly i thought (limited time i've played with one) the S3 was great, didn't have an issue using one (my thumbs reach the corners fine) and it fits well in the palm but even though it's pretty damn thin, i did fine it a little big for my pockets (just the width and height) and a bit uncomfortable - no doubt you'll get use to this though.
If you've got the cash you could always grab one at a decent price, give it a go and then punt it if you don't get on with it.

The more I use it the more I like it but don't know if it's because its better or just because its new/different.
Don't want to start an Apple vs Samsung debate but so far a few niggles include not being able to flick a switch to show battery %, finding the keyboard fiddly, no hardware silent switch is weird, keep going for a sleep button on the top
It's fast, very fast but even after all these years, 4 cores, 2gb ram, Jelly Bean and all its project butteryness, its still not quite to iOS standard in terms of fluidity, which makes me think Android will never be. Regardless it's easily overlooked by no means a deal breaker, especially given what you can pick them up for now.

I have to keep pointing out that I know it's massive, because it is and I don't want to look like I'm saying otherwise.
You do really get used to it though.

There's a battery percent option in settings somewhere.
There's just much more to play with, I've got loads of things installed whereas with iOS i didn't really.

Thought there might have been, asked a guy at work he said you can install an app for that but didn't want to clog it up with lots of shitty apps doing stuff that like.

Some quick pics...
Also, not sure if this is part of the deal for buying the phone or coincidence, either way, cheers Dropbox.:
