Just seen a used iPad 2 16GB Wifi with "some scuffs" sell for £330. That's the same price that Apple sells them for - WTF? I'm putting mine on there.

I want a refurbed 2 now! But I dont want to regret being a tight arse if the 3 is that much better. I'm sure the 2 will suffice...

Just pre-ordered the new iPad. Wasn't going to bother until I saw how much I could get for my iPad 2! I can basically upgrade to the new one for less than £100.

I knew someone would do that.
I am underwhelmed by the new one. But for under £100, it's a no brainer.

If being underwhelmed makes you spend £100 imagine how much money you would spend if you were impressed with something

The 2 wasn't exactly short on processing power, what else could they do?

I dunno, I just expected something a bit more innovative than a better screen and a few other pointless upgrades.
4G would be a massive win, but not much use for us.

I know, but the UK hasn't, so hardly much of a selling point.

I still hardly even have a 3G connection on my phone and that's been out for years now.

Would you have bought the 4G version if we did though? It's another £10 a month minimum you've got to consider (for the data plan).

Anywhere I'd have an iPad I'd have my phone with a data connection.

Getting the 3G or LTE version has another advantage - the wifi version doesn't have GPS.

It's not very well publicised as I guess it's a bit of a niche caveat for most? And it's an Apple product.

No, theres plenty of £5 a month tarrifs, not to mention pay as you go data bundles now, where you can pay a one off payment of say £20 for 2gb of usage.
giffgaff, o2, vodaphone all do them

I doubt 4g will be the same as a 3G tarriff. I'll bet at least double the cost, probably even more than that

Got a text at 10pm last night saying its been dispatched. Expect delivery on or before 16-03-2012. I'm guessing this means its been dispatched from China rather than its set off from some big depot in this country
