updateio
Cooker hood is up, with new cornicing all the way round as couldnt get the orig stuff to match (adding gloss black panel above hood).
Started on the decking in the rear garden. Didnt realise how much it would cost The area we are decking is just the top section. 8m by 8m
Plans are in to the cooooncil for the garage build. Cant wait for this.... 7m long, 6m wide, hopefully 3.8m internal roof height for 4 poster. Having to go with a fairly low angled peak to keep total roof height down though. Total height will be 4.5m. A fairly imposing double garage! 15ft Roller door to

hopefully it'll go through planning no probs, and it shouldnt cut light/views for other houses. Its onto a rear lane... all the houses back onto this, and there are heaps of garages on there already. Maybe only 1 the size were aiming for though.

That garage will be immense, I'm guessing you won't be cutting corners for security on it either after what happened with the liner.

Wall getting built today (all the granite you seen in pics above) and B&Spew delivered 90x 4.8m decking boards.... onto the street.
Fee now has to shift them all into the garden. Useless bastards!

Decking is a work of art
I think everyone is hoping you get permission for this garage, I certainly am as it sounds immense!

I have a picture in my head....
black and white floor tiles, white walls (will prob just paint brick to start with) 4 poster to one side with 911 stored up on it. Impreza and Skyline both in.
There should be good room for cabinets/work bench up at the back too with it being that best part of 7m long.
Lawrah - Hiya, aye... there is still soo much to do to finish the place though just finding time to do it all seems to be the problem. I think i'm becoming African.

there was a sloped flower bed/rockery type affair there before.
Swiped all the stones from where the decking is going, and from the slope, to build the wall.
Its not a dry stone dyke (lesbian) but I think it was still a major hassle for the poor polish bugger we have in doing it.
All the rocks were either granite or quartz looking things
He may have to source some more though as not sure if we'll have enough.
