hmm they also say this tho which is confusing. So all we need now is confirmation if they are doing pre-ordering or not.

Looks like simplicity is also changing too by that table if you go for the iPhone Simplicity package.

I think a lot of people that said they want one, might start to change their mind (including me).
I can see it turning out to be an expensive outlay otherwise

Why is everybody stopping the unlimited data just as we have more need for it, 3 could be a good option.

Data Stats:

To be fair I bet it won't affect the majority of users, but I use FStream and listen to Radio1 using that over 3G at work and I've used about 15GB in 4 months

If we did not all have wifi at home them i think the bandwidth would make a massive difference but for me both at home and work i am on Wifi so i'm quite easy on the downloads.
The big time you can start killing it is on 3G video like Sky Sports or Youtube etc

I'd bs surprised if that's for a full year, it'll have reset at some point.

their coverage sucks anyway. Unlimited data on GPRS means 50mb a year

Because the networks are running out of bandwidth as such. Its taken off too quickly, everyone needs it so they are probably going to start charging for it i would imagine.
And 3 behave John.

think how much data FACE TIME will use
... FACE TIME what a name... the man who came up with that should be given a medal
... and then shot in the face.

in the previous thread about vodafone and the fair use policy, i did state that o2 would follow.
and its for a very simple reason. the phones that are using data use a MASSIVE amount of any networks resources. so OFCOM ultimately control this, and the way to control it is to introduce limits, to ensure that every customer receives the same amount of usage as the next.
ultimatley if you have a smartphone, and you use it beyond the allowed usage, you will get charged.
imo, its extremely justified. same as tv providers, if you want the additional content, you pay for it. if you want add-ons for your car, you pay for it.

sounds like a bellend if you ask me.
I would have asked to speak to his supervisor and then asked his boss why he's bullshitting.
Best of it was, he reminded me the call was recorded before he started, i remembered when i worked on the phone i would get get sacked for lieing to customers.

tbh, most of my time spent on the net is at work/home where its wifi, so I cant see myself getting through 500mb.
I am tempted by the 12m simplicity tho.
