Your usage during the day sounds more than mine Ash but my battery lasts much longer than the 4S ever did, with exactly the same usage, possibly a bit more on the S3 because it's got more syncing all the time.

10.5 hours since I took it off charge, 2 hours on screen, 30% remaining.

Just had to put it on charge because off out in a min and will need it to last till I get in.

Stats from the settings, 12.5 hours standby, 2.5 hours usage. And my iPhone 5 stats for comparison.

Strange, was never plugged in after taking it off in a morning.

Really frustrated me last night because it ended up running out about 9pm, as only had time put it back on charge for 30 mins. When I charged it and turned it back on, it had logged out of all of my accounts, twitter, ebay, facebook etc.

I'm just finding it a general PITA tbh.

Shouldn't be doing that, sounds like a bodged config or a software problem. I'd be doing a system reset and taking from there. Failing that sending it back for a replacement, especially as you seem to be having more problems that other S3 users.

Again, make sure it's all up-to-date.

No, that's not normal; a reboot shouldn't wipe your settings

And yes, a system reset restores the phone back to factory.
Apps/Settings/Contacts should be backed up to your Google account (double check that it's enabled in the settings) and will automatically restore apps/settings during initial setup (note it won't restore icon positions/homescreens; will restore wallpapers).
You'll need to backup texts separately (use something like SMS Backup & Restore app) and make a backup of your photos and sdcard (Dropbox app allows you to sync the photos).

There are backup apps like Go Backup (never used, apparently doesn't backup photos) and Titanium Backup (Needs root; works well) that backup the complete system.

Edit - And yes, this is one area that could do with improving with Android devices.

Cheers Dom I'll give it a go when I've got some time sort it out.

Honestly don't think it's faulty because its all stuff that works sometimes and not others.

Like eBay only loading messages on WiFi is clearly an app compatibility issue same as facebook errors.

Not forgetting you're probably all using the normal S3 with ICS whereas the LTE version with JB and integrated touchwiz is relatively new so apps probably haven't been tweaked or updated so I'm coming across more issues.

Is there a way to keep websites like Corsasport logged in? It remembers my details but I have to log in everytime?

CS stayed logged in this morning. Think it's because I keep killing apps to try and save battery life.

Scared to install stuff as its only going to make the battery life worse, but that then defeats the object of having the phone.

Installing stuff won't make it worse having shit loads of widgets all over your homescreens might
