my 1.2 8v did bout 104 mph down a hill on the M11, but on a flat surface i reckon it could reach a 100 no more.

the 1.2 16v Corsa Cwill do at least the manuf recc speed of 106. No fukcin argument,
My mates 1.2 Breeze 8v does, 'about 90' and a bit more if u get a bit of a straight, so in other words it needs to wind up. But...he says it slows down if you hammer it in fourth and then slip it into fifth, top speed in 4th is prob about 96-97 mph.
The old Nova 1.2 would do a genuine ton.
The Corsa B 1.2 16v was supposed to do 104 vauxhall figure

i have a 1.2 16v T reg i've had 115mph out of mine on the motorway but that was a struggle but that speedo thing isnt true anyway cos with bigger wheels your speedo reads slower than your actually going not faster and i'm runnin 17's

I know i have said this before... but...
been in a 1.2 8v corsa 4 gears (packed full of people and kit) speedo said 111. yes took a year and half to get it there but france has long straight roads.
just chucking me pennies worth in

I went in a 1.2 P reg just this evening, the one I mentioned, it struggles to get to 85 mph , on the clock and hold it ! TO get a ton, you'd have to be downhill , with a good example I would have thought.
God knows what the 12v is like, or is that supposed to be quicker ???
