FIXED IT!!!!!
he was just usin the wrong point to time it, so i sorta pointed this point out, he wasnt happy, but we put it in thje right place and now its sweet again!

 that ratling tapping was so the valves hitting the pistons.... ure lucky that was a hard as nails 8v... a 16v engine probably would have committed suicide...
anyways nice one yer motoring again

Dont be too happy it dont take allot to bend valves even slightly, it will run with bent valves i would do a comp test to be sure, if you aint bent nothing you are one luck bastid, lol
