still got the old casing somewere i think!! but i wrote down the cd key anyway incase somthing like this happend! all the parts inside etc are still the same, well except for the new HDD i have which is were all the problems started...
anyway, it took ages to get through to microsoft! really dont want to call them again, they were not very helpfull, but if they can give me new cd key over the phone if i talk to someone else i may try!??? what you think?

put in your old hard disk, then format it, then put in your new hdd and then install windows again

did you take down ALL the numbers?? CD Key, Serial number below the Barcode, and the number on the left of the sticker on its side also??
they need these numbers also to validate any claim.

crap, i only took down the 25 digit code, nothing else, just went and looked if i could find the old tower casing... it was thrown away some time ago!!!
maybe thats why they said i have to buy the cd key when i called them!

started a diploma in IT, then stopped when programming stuff became main parts, didnt have much time to cope with other main studies
Anyway, I am not always right on what I say, just trying to help out from some knowledge I have and experience I've had

i contacted the guy he said its some sort of tool??? and that it fully works or full refund??
will be getting new comp soon anyway, so i dont really want to spend loads!

no, i asked him to be more precise but he just said he gaurantee it will activate windwos or full refund!
also said that he does not provide a cd key, so it must be some sort of bypass tool/program, he will email me the tool or whatever it is soon as i pay
what you think, worth a try??
