I traded in Saints Row in the end for this game yesterday. Had a little play of it last night and it seems really good

I'm on the mission where I've gotta find the jeep now but I ran in with all guns blazing and got killed

What's the online play like?

trust me, the 360 controller more than lives upto a keyboard/mouse. this is what it was built for

I cannot see this being true, you can not react quick enough with extreme accuracy with a controller, or spin around 180 in a flash. Il wait to see if it comes out on PC, or just wait for the next pc version.

which all adds to the realism. plus the hand to hand combat is brilliant. as for accuracy its spot on, i do agree the movements not as sharp as pc controls.

i cannot get on with fps with console controllers especially after playing lots of cs/cod/quake on the pc. it just annoys me that i cant aim quick enough or accurately quickly.

you can adjust them. As for not accurate i think you should play it using them before passing judgment

i did play COD3 for a quick stint and tbh i probably could adjust to the control style after a while but i just dont think that fps on a console will be as good as on a pc with a mouse/keyboard. I played lots of Halo and got to grips with that, but for example sniper shots, i just kept aiming too high then too low and ended up getting annoyed

I do agree with Dave to a certain extent. Once you get god-like at using a keyboard and mouse for FPS then there's no alternative.

Picking up a pad for the first time when playing a FPS seems weird, you do get used to it but it's definitely not as effective as a keyboard and mouse combo.

I don't mind it though

As AuroraSport said, it's getting used to making the small adjustments with the analog sticks once you get good at that then its a lot more enjoyable.

trust me i would have been 100% with you on this, but this is just as good with the controller
i had COD2 on the ps2 and took it back after 5 mins of play because of the shit controls, but this is a totally different ball game, the controller just works

What?...............like real soldiers do?

P.S- I do know where your coming from but at the end of the day its more realistic with a control pad IMO
