think so, it used to be like that anyway you would have to wait for whoever to click "continue" etc back on CM. Might of changed it now but not sure, also i think if u cant make it one week or something cant u set urself as "on holiday" and the comp will just play your games with ur set up team etc

Ok, so here is what i suggest.
fm2007 with patch 7.0.1
teams restricited to the prem and championship (you want to meet each other as much as possible to have fun?) and excluding arsenal, liverpool, united and chelski (but you can accept a job with them if offered?)
i think we should all choose the same start rating (you can pick you previous experience, which will then effect how your new team accepts you, obviously if you pick the lowest you will be greated with the usual "is he up to the job")
a specified 90min or 2hr stint, monday evenings for example.
set it so as long as 80% (maybe less?) of the players turn up on the night the game can continue

basicly, we set a % min number of users. as long as the amount turn up, your asst manager will take over for the rest of the people.
