Depends if ya want noise or not tbh.
If ya have or are getting an aftermarket exhaust then I'd defo say go with the drilled box and filter.

and yeh im gettin a peco backbox the cubed tubes stainless, got it for 30 quid

dont always need to drill the air box, the side of it has a pannel that you can pull off (with a bit of force and a screwdriver lol) thats what ive done and it revs nice only draw back is it dont half make the inducktion loude..... louder than when i had a pipercross cone on there. volume on radio at 25 and give it the beans and you cant hear the radio.....

id say do that, as if you put a cone on the thing, they tend to have terrabule heat soak, keeping the original air box helps this, and also there ain't much difference in them really, just knock the restricting pipe out the top of the air box and do what i said then, run a cold air feed up the wing to it and your laughing....

I have a derestricted and drilled airbox and no cold air feed and I can still hear mine over the music, sounds like a cone filter from the inside just doesn't from the outside imo.
