I'd probably buy a proper Mantzel if I was doing it again, shock horror

Why would you buy a proper mantzel?
What's wrong with the copy one?

I would say 115bhp would be a realistic target with one just put on the car with an exhaust, filter etc. Assuming its a 1.6.
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

They don't look as good, probably nothing in it performance wise, but the Mantzel looks a lot nicer.

As Monster has said, i gained 10.8 bhp after fitting the mantzel. It made 114.4 bhp with a 4-1protech mani, decat and a backbox. With all them fitted it made 125.2 bhp.

Theres pretty much nothing in it performance wise between a copy and a mantzel.
Aye, the mantzel does look a lot nicer, but for the extra cost involved id stick with the copy.
Think i get my copy for about £130 off here, most mantzels go for £270 minimum.... So thats £140 saved to spend elsewhere
Mine made 118hp with a de-cat, full downpipe back exhaust system, superchipped ecu(std rev limit tho), and a set of Kent cams(mild ones)
And it made 127hp on Saturday at Jamsport with the copy inlet fitted

Again, it shows that even with extra mods, the difference with the inlet fitted is alomst 10 bhp.

Thanks. I have looked into it and noticed there is two chaps on here selling Mantzle copies but I am unsure as one is Stainless Steel and one is Mild steel, which would be better performance wise? Has anyone bought any from here as would the mild steel one rust quicker?

Yeah I know but I am worried that it won't last as long and would rust quite quickly!
