it will only turn the eml on if you remove the egr completely, te plates i've made fit inbetween the egr and the head an you keep the egr plugged in so no problem there.

^BUT you MUST only bolt the EGR on with one bolt, else due to the egr piston not being able to move the EML WILL come on.

Btw, the gaskets can be re-used as there just thin metal. Also there is a chap on ebay who sells the EGR blank on ebay for £2.50 posted.

I've bolted two EGRs back on with both bolts and got no EML, as far as I'm aware the piston does not extend past the mounting face.

the egr piston on the 14 & 16xe engines do not travel virticaly they travel horizontlely(sp) and the ones in ebay are mostly for lanrovers and i canny find any for the corsa. Cheapest i found was £4.99 for just a plate, the gaskets can be re used yes but if your putting something new on why use old stuff.. I got the price of the gaskets today.. Im not going to be doing bolts with it as then the price is going to have to be over £10 for the egr as postage is fairly pricy now a days.. Im going to make a run of 10 sai and 5 egr when they are made i'll put it up in clasifides, once these 10 are gone then if there is still a interest i'll be doing more.

Also if you are going to get stuck on how to fit the sai plate check out tutorials as my tutorial is in there now.

got everything ordered finaly.

Price wise i think they will be £4 and postage is £0.70 so for the sai it will be £4.70 delivered, i think thats fare with price of parts and time it takes to make it.

Oh and the metal gaskets aren't designed to be re-used they are metal because nothing else will cope with the heat involved.

Everything should be avalable on friday week so will put te add up in clasifides when they arive, sall run of 10 at first then more later on if there is still an interest..
Egr plate is avalable now for the same price but it doesn't come with gasket as i'd need to ask £6+ if it did.
