Do your dash lights come on? i.e batt light, oil etc?

if not, check your fuses, check you've got all your earths on clean and tight, check your wiring to the starter etc.

it'll be something simple you've missed whilst putting the engine in.

was thinking maybe a dodgy earth to the starter could be why its clicking every so often

Yes, check earth strap on the starter isn't perished.

Try bump starting it

checked the connections to the starter and found one of them wasnt connected properly so was sparking, reconnected it and every time i turn the key i get a click of the starter and petrol coming from where the exhaust manifold would go :s tried bumping it aswell and still nothing

Id concentrate on sorting this first then mate, It will never run if this is happening. It can only be something caused by the ECU, transponder or the key chip. If they are 100% a matched set which ran fine in another car it must be something to do with how they've been installed. Transponder definitely plugged in right? Chip in the key the right way round etc?

As for the other problems I'd do a paperclip test and see what codes it flashes up. You'll have a better idea then of what you're dealing with.

Right ripped the loom out, including all earths
Cleaned them up and reconnected everything i could find a plug for yet im still getting nothing

Eventually got it turning over but it wont start, ill check tomorrow for spark and fuel

Still havent checked for spark or fuel, but the car seems to be turning over to slowly even when the battery is charged full or connected to another car, why could this be???

Put jump leads on it and see if it speeds up. If so you need a new battery

did you swap ecu over...? the ecu key and they transponder all have to match or it wont fire, i had the same problem i learned the had way though.. im pretty positve thats your problem
