Colour is good in person, tbh though, you'd be better off with a much less powerful one that you'd have less chance of blinding yourself.

Then you get into green being more visible to the human eye than blue so a green of about a quarter the power will look as bright.

You truly are a AI construct from Deus Ex. These lasers form part of your anti personel defence protocols.

Was experimenting cutting PCB's with the laser we have in the office. There was a bit of a flash when I was looking at it and must have got a bit of radiation to the eye - the fucking migrane afterwards!

I got loads of reflection hits over the weekend and it does properly affect your vision and give you a sore head, dangerous stuff, the power in one that will cut a pcb will be much worse.

Think we're talking a 60 watt Co2 laser. There are some people next door to me who use a laser for measuring things (I think) and when it's on they're hidden behind a special curtain wearing gloves, glasses and coats. I think the moral of the story is, don't fuck up!

I was wearing glasses, that's why it took me so long to get the first one in the beam.

Seriously, somebody is losing an eye if this ends up in the hands of anyone drunk, the green one doesn't even come close.

I can change the focus so will be as far away as I can focus it to a small enough point.

I'll have to check but I'd guess at at least a few metres, it's finding enough space, it's also really visible as well, it's a big blue line always coming back to where you are, can't be very inconspicuous.
