Each to their own, belkin can hardly tell you have it on and still looks like an iPad, where as that is huge, doesn't appear to fit well around the charger port either, then the front covers half the screen!
How to make an iPad fugly, but as its apple will sell millions!

I have a first gen ipad and have used the original apple cover since day 1, ipad is mint and has done alot of travelling.
