I was being a tad sarcastic... but even so I don't think anything is in any danger at 80.

It seems the main struggle nowadays is graphics cards. I've seen them at 120+ under load

Considering Brett doesn't have anything directly cooling his CPU though - I guess his higher than usual idle is to be expected. Dropping all case fans in favour of a single CPU cooler will probably half temperatures

Most graphics cards run a lot higher than processors as idle and under load.

My 3570k i5 sits at 70 when under load and thats with the standard intel cooler which is shite
