CTS is a possibility, check the timeing aswell... did you renew all the sensors?
the afm sounds like a possibility too

Didn't change all the sensors, Steve come round and did the timing, I can post pics, but as they're verniers I can't see any markings on them


Plugs are brand new too

check MAP sensor (i did read but nobody said anything bout it)
it cut off if is discconected too .

Wasn't even aware there was a map sensor, only the one in the ecu ?

Can't see anything unplugged?

Apart from
Hot start valve

sorry mate, i thought ur one got MAP sensor .. if ur car got power so ecu is working, why u dont try to find and connect OBD reader to it and have a look whats going on ... maybe silly idea but worked for me, when u said ur engine cut off, seriously it sounds like sensor, AFM, MAF or MAP or a vacuum pipe or somewhere goin air cos of no good insolation or something. im tryin to help

this one at the right is MAP for c20let
i dont know where is located but if the hose from inlet manifold dont go in, it can cut off

i have checked for u online about similar problem to urs and people say that maybe fuel pump or fuel pump relay could do problem, i should check if is any electric goin to ur fuel pump or could be bad earth on fuel rail..

what im tryin to say mate is i have look around in internet about c20let cut off and this is some of the reasons other people couldnt start their c20let's and i just decide to post them in here so u might think of idea why ur one dont start i hope u understand

Plugs 1+4 are soaked

2+3 are clean

Does this timing look out, bearing in mind it's a let and timing is usually retarded?

Clearly petrol. Sounds very stupid. But try swapping 1 and 4 ht leads at the dizzy. Also check crank sensor

The exhaust is set standard. That's what the dizzy runs off. So should be okay

why is it clearly petrol? could of just as easily been coolant or oil couldn't it

however with the points on the dizzy being fucked them yes it sounds like petrol on them as it probably wont of been firing on them 2 cylinders

yupp, problem solved there matey, get a new one on there (Y)
any mr fluffy or whatever your name is, if a car struggles to start and you pull the plugs out and there wet, if its anything but fuel then i would eat my own hat, theres nothing that gets sprayed into a bore except fuel!!!!

Fucked head gasket, cracked head or block could mean coolant or oil could get in there,

So you not entirely right. But not far wrong.
