Isn't that just a copy of Samsung's smart cover albeit it actually does something on the S4 unlike this iPhone 5 clone?

Not sure but these type of covers have been around long before the 'smart cover'.

That said I am serious about the case, making a minor change, adding a letter in front of the name and charging double, now where have I seen that before.

I thought the S-View cover was pretty clever actually.
Often I just pull out my phone to see the time (despite always wearing a watch), so makes sense to have a case that'll allow that without opening it.

Yeah opening a flap, what a meither. It's not even as if the time is there all the time like on the older Nokias.
Same as people who use wireless chargning pads because the extra effort of having to plug the connector in the end of phone is just too much.
