I will be, just not right now It works, I'm working every hour that god sends at the moment, if I'm not I'm sleeping so I wouldn't be enjoying it.

Lovely place Dave. I like it it a lot.

House prices more reasonable that way? Or is it near work?

I missed this - yes I have loads.

1. New bathroom, which will include a new combi boiler so I can move the bathroom door forward and incorportate the airing cupboard space (knock it all out) so I have have a separate shower in there.
2. New kitchen, looks good in the pictures but really it's on its last legs. Probably keep a very similar layout as it works really well
3. Have the living room and kitchen ceilings plastered, they are artex and blehhhhh, wood burner in the fireplace. Of course a decent AV setup.
4. Real wood floor in the little hallway
5. Raised deck outside with a hot tub sunk into it (I am in negotiations with my godmother over buying her 4 person one when she gets a 10 person one haha!), with steps down into the garden (and a general garden tidy up! Might move the shed form one side to another and gain an extra back garden parking space for something else).
6. Might driveway the front, undecided yet.

Guess it doesn't really matter what you do with it for now, main thing is that you're now on the property ladder!

Kitchen, bathroom, carpets are on the list before I move in.

The fact you had to sniff your way through Facebook is pretty sad tbh (thought you hated all the Facebook hype?), however the story is absolutely amazing.

As soon as I saw the generic facebook cover photo of bungee jumping off some bridge I thought here we go.

Can we just keep the thread on topic please? It's a part of my life I'd much rather move on from.

She has been absolutely fantastic, an absolute dream. I went to see her to tell her I'm giving her notice in the week and the house is looking lovely. Bit of paint missing here and there on corners but it's a small house so getting furniture in was a bit of a nightmare.

It is very difficult to compete with all the wealthy patrons active on this web forum.

I paid cash for mine, unrecorded CAT C after an incident with a table leg.

Looking at remaps.

That's what I was worried about mate, didn't want the king of cash giving me a telling off.
