I didn't treat mine, just gave it a few washes and let it dry out.
If it's covered in oil though, then yes, you need to treat it iirc.

I did mine this week with the paint out of screwfix, layland I think it was called..
Just swept it out and did a couple of coats, be warned tho it's slippery as fook when it gets wet !! I found this out yesterday after washing the van.

Thats decent stuff. It's what I used 5 years ago. Gave it a repaint last year. Not because it flaked away, but because I spilt loads of black paint on it.

I need to do this. We concreted the barn floor back in March/April I think it was.
As it had insulation and polythene under the concrete, it had to evaporate dry and we didn't have time to float finish it.
As a result the floor is extremely gritty and dusty.
Is it worth using a sealer before I paint it, or just ensure it is well swept, hoovered and do 2 good coats of paint?

The 4Trade Slate Grey paint didn't go as far as they said. 35m/sq coverage, it's done 16sq/m with just 3rd can left 
Patchy as hell where I didn't think I would get it all covered
