Right with o2 removing unlimited data i was thinking about getting an iPhone and using tom tom on it. How much data does that use whilst using it?

The maps on tomtom are cached on the phone (hence over 1gb program), it only uses GPS position fixing and not data transfer.

As mentioned TomTom (CoPilot etc) store thier data on the phone so the only data you have is if you have traffic subscriptions which is fairly minimal
Online Nav like Google Nav (which will be out soon on iPhone) will use data

Visual Voicemail -> Does this 'call' to get your messages or does it download them? Does listening to a message count as 'calling' it?
Vodaphone charge for voicemail so again this is another factor to think of now along with much higher MMS on Voda

I find TomTom better when it works BUT i find CoPolit handles loss of signal better i.e. it presumes you are carring on at a constant rate and then tries to get the signal back where as with TomTom it seems to loose lock, then try and find you, put you in a field and then a mile down the road it realises your on a road (no sh*t sherlock)
My brother got a refund out of TomTom due to it dropping the signal so much where as hes had no such problems with CoPilot (which will of course have the same signal problems)

Considering buying one.
Wanting to pay around £35 a month, 300 mins, unlimited texts, internet bundle unlimited wifi, how much for the phone itself with that contract above?

It's not a fucking sales thread that's why.
If he wants to know prices go and look on the providers website and find out.

The upgrade options had been reposted 1 page before you asked.
GF-91 has been following the thread, he's posted at various parts.

It's not difficult to go onto o2.co.uk and have all the info you could possibly need delivered to you.
