My HTC is good at that, it's got better but still not perfect. My iPad is famous for hanging on Safari though

Managed to find a thread that mentioned removing some of the settings in the mobile data section as they can interfere with some apps. Seems to be better.
Liking the Nova launcher.
Tried the Apex launcher but was a bit iffy. Nova seems more stable. One thing I found very useful from the Apex that you have to pay for with the Nova is the gesture you can enable to swipe down anywhere on the screen to pull down the notification centre thing, since you can't normally reach right to the top.
Anywhere you can get this tweak separately? Not worth paying for the full version of Nova just for that.

Thought it was already buttery smooth, best phone in the world yada yada?
Also, PB was written for the Nexus processor so S3 doesn't get the full effect anyway.

Does anybody else struggle texting on this? Thought it was just not being used to the bigger screen but had it a while now and still having to retype 90% of the words every time I try and type anything.
Can't quite put my finger on why that is, whether the letters are too close together, the keyboard not being as accurate, the predictive text being rubbish...really not sure but its bloody frustrating.

You need to turn off what I said a while ago in the settings on the keyboard. Go into predictive text and turn off word completion

Word completion is off, might try predictive text off completely and if it's still doing it at least I know it's not that.

dropped mine today and smashed the glass now i get splinters.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

That's why I bought an iPhone tbh Headbutted my Desire and it shattered but the build quality of my 4 means it can withstand many a header.

Did you not start fuming with rage over the S3 comments in the iPhone thread?

I can only compare my HTC Desire with missus' 4, my keyboard tbf is shocking, always mistyping words, not really sure what it is but the iPhone does have a better keyboard

I use swype on my S2 and its generally brilliant, but missus S3 has had something tweaked and she finds it impossible to use the same system as quick.
Odd.

Yeah I can't put my finger on why it is (excuse the pun ). I thought I'd get used to it but I'm still just as rubbish trying to type anything on it now as I was when I first had it. Then I thought it must just be me but I used to be able to reel off long texts with no problems at all on the iPhone and its not as if its the odd word its like literally every other word.

Forgot to add that it's rented, that's the only reason it's not out a scrapyard.
