Doesn't look like the 5C has been very popular, taken a week for just one of the colours to sell out.
Black/Grey will look battered in a week, nearly always had white, champagne for me.

Probably the grey just so people can tell that I'm cool enough to own a 5s and don't confuse it with last years obsolete model.

They seem to have changed the black model back to the old 4S black but with a grey back, which actually looks pretty shonky i reckon  fed up of my current white 4S but probs will go with white/silver as looks best IMO :\

plus white/silver goes with the (Red) case whcih I quite like should i decide to get a case (never have thus far)

it looks more of a glossy black like on the 3GS, 4, 4S etc rather than the matt black/slate from the 5, plus the grey back from the 5

It's got exactly the same matte back and gloss inserts as the iPhone 5, just a bit lighter.

Well, the front is glossy black, as it's always been and was on the 5 as well.
The back is matt aluminium, as it was on the 5.
Only difference is that the "black" 5 was slate and not actually black, where as the "black" 5s is grey and not actually black.
So there's not matt vs. glossy, they just changed if for a slightly brighter shade of dark grey...

I think the chavs will get gold (mainly women) and the rest of us will simply get the same colour we've always had in the past.
Its black/grey for me as well.

Apple store only opens at 9 as well so only people who can get one in the morning are dole scroungers or proper sad acts that have taken the day off.

I work pretty much next door to the Arndale Apple store. In two minds about just getting one online and waiting for it to be delivered or turning up at the store at 9.

Lets hope the black 5s doesn't chip as easily as the 5, the quality of the anodising is shocking.
I'm on my 2nd 5 and this looks rough as hell already.

They'll wait until they've sold enough of them to boast about, then spin it some way that it's a good thing they didn't sell out and miss out that it's because they are at least £100 too expensive.
