AT&T must has swollowed the extra cost as I think they have the same phone costs as when the 3GS released. Guessing the iPhone 4 will be around the free / 100/ 200/ 300 mark depending on contract

No you just phone them up and tell them you want one, then they'll put it aside for you with no deposit what so ever. I'd have thought an entrepreneur like you would have known that.

Sorry, I hadn't worked out the 18 month £30 and £35 contracts, for the other ones I multiplied the cost of the contract per month by the number of months, then added on the cost of the phone if applicable, pretty simple calculation.

So as expected they are virtually the same as the 3GS at release which is what we expected seeing the US handset prices, now just need O2 to complete my spreadsheet.
Looks like its between Vodafone£25-24m or O2 £30-18m
