Yeah, I'm up, and I would have sold at 5k let alone leaving it to this point.
All thanks to Dan on here and the lottery syndicate that he set up. He has a lot more than the rest of us as well so I'm pretty sure he'll be having a good christmas!

Curious to see the figures, as I said about that guy in the first post, he's got a 17% return PA which compares favorably to other investments but was certainly higher risk.
A great ROI but a long way from the first boom.
I bought one and half coins back in 2012 to purchase something online, which i never actually spent. I paid a little under £18. That returned £1164. Around 3000% return PA.
Having said that wish i kept hold of it!!

What exchange are people using, i thought about buying some ripple XRP.
Just unsure about the selling of it, i was thinking of buying one of the offline storage devices
Seems i'd need to open some kind of wallet, add gbp (maybe convert that to Euros or USD) then buy bitcoin and use bitcoin to buy the ripple.

Use coinbase to trade gbp for bitcoin.
trasnfer to binance if you want to buy any alt-coin , ripple etc.

Now you have to declare any profit you’ve made on cryptocurrency to HMRC

I've made a Etherum coin. Currently sat in my Coinbase Wallet. Going to sit on the coin and sell on some of the kit.

A very eventful week in Crypto!
Quite a big crash with bitcoin after months of stability and everyone going on about a huge bull run up to or past last years levels, clearly that has not happened.
Major hash wars going on since bitcoin cash forked into BCHSV and BCHABC it certainly has been an event filled week.
I hold 1 BTC and a did have 2 BCH, also a few alt coins. I can't see this anticipated bull run happening this year now but I still think it to be a good investment long term, maybe up to 2020-2023.
A real shitter is that back around 2010-2011 I remember buying some bitcoin to pay for something online that only accepted Crypto, I cannot remember what the hell that was. What I do remember is that I had some money left over after the purchase, wether that was just Satoshi's or maybe a handful of bitcoins I dont know. All I do know is that it was on an old PC that was long since disposed off, it's quite possible I threw away anything between 1k to maybe 20k.
Best I not think about that to much hey

Well today it has broken a key support line and its now trading well under £4000. I wonder how much lower it will go, could be a good time to get in for those that missed the pre 2017 bull run prices.

Ian is getting married?
We saw a good pump on bitcoin this week. Still a way to go before it recovers though.
You need a Crystal ball to predict where it is going to go. Although Technical Analysis is a sound science it it's own right I don't thing its that effective when applying it to Crypto.
Really doubt we will see the supposed bull run up to 20k+ this year as was peddled the last few months.

hmm $300 gain today, most its moved in a while. A lot of FOMO and people claiming the bear market is over. I am not so sure, I don't currently have a position anyway so I guess it will fly to 250k now
