Perhaps i worded it wrongly but i'm point out that there will be a difference in experience when using stock and modified interfaces/apps such as Touchwiz/Sense etc.
I might have completely misunderstood you then.
Did you mean that you can't judge Android purely based on the S3? Because in that case, I completely agree.
Yeah, perhaps i should have worded it like that

Does anybody else struggle texting on this? Thought it was just not being used to the bigger screen but had it a while now and still having to retype 90% of the words every time I try and type anything.
Can't quite put my finger on why that is, whether the letters are too close together, the keyboard not being as accurate, the predictive text being rubbish...really not sure but its bloody frustrating.

Same with my Nexus. Winds me up
Glad it's not just me being a retard
Seems to be better with all assistance turned off, predictive text, everything.
Swiftkey 3 Keyboard. All my typing problems are solved, no wonder its number 1 in the app store.
How can a couple of devs in a small office make a better keyboard/dictionary than Google/Samsung.

Apple are probably suing the big names for using a keyboard.

Thought i'd give it ago (purchased from a 'internet shop' :look and although i find it a little laggy compared to the standard Android keyboard, it does seem to be pretty decent. Definitely worth trying though

Not noticed any lag here (which makes a change ). Only downside is no emoji plugin...I will get them one day

Does look good that, couldn't bring myself to pay a fiver for it though.
Ended up downloading, two races in, 10% battery gone and screen red hot can barely touch

Yes I'm really liking it although back to my point about stuff only working 90%, it only works in certian places, like text messaging and not everywhere through the OS, like searching in the chrome browser.

You sure you've sent the input type to Swiftkey? Works fine here -
Edit - I've yet to find somewhere where it doesn't work; Swiftkey is the default even in games.

I meant in the address bar but I guess on second thought that make sense since you wouldn't want it auto correcting web site address', however it just so happens you also search for stuff in there too.
Tbf works really well, makes typing normal again.
Just found out you can set an alarm in Tunein radio to wake you up with a chosen channel, probably old news but useful.
Also, the battery's been holding up really well recently and couldn't understand why then today noticed I must have knocked sync off a few days back as haven't been getting emails. Going to set up a tasker profile to turn sync on every hour for a few mins then turn it back off.

Works in the address bar too
Sounds like you haven't set the input correctly.
Edit - Perhaps TouchWiz is getting in the way.....

Not what you said though - "Yes I'm really liking it although back to my point about stuff only working 90%, it only works in certain places"; no, it is working as intended ie: no predictive correction in 'special' input boxes

You see on here how to the app drawer button is slightly dull and pixelated compared to the clock, where can I get a better png, jpg or whatever it is to replace the button with a crisp one? You can hold on the icon and change it for whatever image you like so that bit should be easy but I guess it needs to be transparent so not too sure if that method will work.

took my analog clock off the phone as i always found myself reading the little digital one first.
Then realised i've never used the analog one to tell the time so it got deleted.

Done it now, there was a high res version in one of the themes on the play store, had to go though a few themes to find one though.
Been playing this morning on NFS, incredible for a phone really and only froze once on me. I do get worried about how hot it gets but I'm hoping the phone will turn do something like turn itself off when it gets too hot.
