Has it messed it up.? The phone has sold loads, way more than any other iPhone, they have great demand around the product which all creates more interest = more sales.

I have pre ordered an iphone 4 from Apple UK
MY current contract on Orange doesnt run out until 2 months, but can I keep running that contract and get a new contract on O2 on the iphone 4?

Why is he an Ididot. You can reserve one to pick up and then go in on the 24th and upgrade your existing contract to the o2 one. You will then pay what ever the O2 prices are (or similar for Vodaphone).
i.e. I have one reserved for upgrade on O2 and will pay what ever o2 charge for the upgrade which will probably be around the same as the prices of the 3GS at release time.
Well I say you can reserve one you can't any more as they have filled thier allocation of both pre-order units and sim-free delivered ones
