Tempted to order 32gb 5s. Couple of recycling sites offering £273 for my 32gb 5. so only 350 out of pocket.
My only problem is remembering i could get charged at any moment and making sure i leave enough cash in bank to cover it

You get charged when you order it with Apple. Cash left my account straight away when I ordered.

why would it come monday when it clearly says 8-10 business days?
Because it said 7-10 business days immediately. I'd be surprised if many people got it in their basket before I did. If they didn't have enough phones to send out next day for the people who ordered it within a minute, they are onto plums if they think they are getting my £1098.

The order suggests delivery on 7th Oct. What are the chances of it arriving sooner?

Upgraded on Orange from my 16GB 4S to a 16GB 5S grey/black yesterday. Champagne? Not a chance!
£27/month + £35 up front
Unlimited calls
Unlimited texts
10GB of data
Originally I planned on going SIM free but this works out pretty damn cheap - The 40% Friends and family discount rolled over which helped! He doesn't even work there anymore...

I got a 32gb Vodafone 4G 5s. Got a discount of 20% through my mum as she works for NHS.
Also atm Vodafone will give you 4GB extra a month free data.
It's a pretty good phone. Very big update from a 4s. The finger print button thing is gd. Also the camera filters and the slow mo photo seems really gd.

What are the chances of Apple shipping the orders out earlier than the estimated date?
Don't really want to wait until 7th-10th October. I had ordered it by 127 so I would have been one of the first wave at least.

Graeme, a friend of mine has fingerprint enabled but also appears to have pin code as well. Is there an easy way to turn off pin code without turning off touchID?
In the security menu, switching off pin code switches off touch ID?

Having a pin code as a backup is a requirement.

Yes but it's asking for the pin every time... After every unlock with touch ID

Bart - Have they updated to 7.0.1? The Touch ID fix was to stop the pin popping up in iTunes etc; might be a related issue.
