not the best of pics but shows you what we had to cut out doing mine t fit power cap in. i cut it a little further past each side so could run the pipes in through it and past the power cap. fue, brake and servo pipes go past it no problems at all

heres a finshed pic from the next day of mine. my engine seems to sit further towards the bulk head on the driverside (left of pic) than yours, or is it just the way the pic looks to me?

to make it run, erm, loom inside needs sorting, drivers side driveshaft, engine moving forward? and the radiator sorting, then fingers crossed

so.....

change rad for one from a 1400 or summit. mine be 1400 16v girth and runs cool enough

what wiring needs doing? all of it? i could go look at mine and write down what colour goes to what colour, although pretty sure its just match em all up.

have you tried fitting the drive shaft in place? i know some corsas run that set up no bothers i belive. as i say though i bought that m-tec kit and it went together like a dream. worth the money in some ways didnt have the hassles

i dunno if your engine is sitting all that badly, or worth moving. mine seems to look the same and it works fine. doesnt bang. a mates old corsa from round ere, his seemed to sit closer than mine and that was ok. both of us had chopped the bulkhead though for powercap fitting.

could be one of them. try it, it might be fine

skinto tho so cudnt afford the mounts or kits

kinda wish i spent extra money, i could have towed it down to you lee and had a turbo put in for what i've spent

the wiring has already been done by beardy, but the loom had 2 plugs missing, so had to take it out and put a new one in, so the loom inside is all cut ready to be matched up, but i aint too sure about doing it, could you get some good clear pics of yours?

right, so workin from left hand side of pic, starting with loom coming round strutt top.

only things that should run off down sriver side chasis leg -

afm wire large pin connector.
ecu coolant plug. plug end on it
crank sensor
dash temp display. single blue wire with push on like speaker connectotr deely.

mine aslo has a plug that is in the inlet pipe from filter to air mass meter. reckon this is temp or summit. so ive no idea what the 2 plugs your holding up beside cam belt cover are

lol, i must make everyone who comes to my gaff a cuppa. someone picked up the corsa gsi engine i had for sale this morning. first thing i did? made the 2 of em cuppa's, lol.

langey, just persevere with it, will be worth it in the end i reckon. the first valver engine i put into a nova back in about 1999 had all ends of problems as it wasnt really a common thing back then so had to work stuff out for myself. in the end, was well worth it

it can look dirty as my mates bird, but you wont see that woz, you'll see the back end of it and i'll see your saxo front end in the distance in my mirror
