i heard that any PC version is being held back to be compatible with DX10  then it can absolutely blow the console versions completely out of the water

they will come down in price pretty sharply once ATI get off their lardy arses and do something for DX10. besides, the 8800GT is pretty reasonable price wise considering its brand new on te market. GTX is a bit much though

iv alsmost done it on normal. I am the point where you take out all the tanks with the binoculars, done that bit on the bit after, how much longer?

I originally thought that Russ, but to be perfectly honest with you I think games such as Fight Night Round 3 and Project Gotham look far better than anything I've played on the PC. HD or just standard def.
I've no doubt something like Flight Sim X looks draw-droppingly good, but what kind of PC do you need to run this and get it looking at it's best??
We haven't seen the best of the 360 yet I don't think.

Exception, Half Life 2 looked utterly amazing. Fear on the 360 looks better than the PC version also.

I have heard that Far Cry looks stunning. I've never seen it on either platform though.
I used to be a real PC fan and would always slate my mates saying games look better on the PC (which they normally did). I soon realised though that sitting alone at my desk upstairs staring at a 21" monitor was a bit crap. I wanted to get my mates round and enjoy games and make full use of the new TV 
It's all down to preference at the end of the day PC's suit some, consoles suit others.
