Whats wrong with standing up for something you own and enjoy?
Nothing at all but there is less focus on the fact they're all breaking down than there should be which potential buyers, like corb, would probably rather hear beforehand.

Its like with anything, you sell millions of a product, a percentage is bound to be faulty

Yeah I see what you are saying. Theres only been (correct me if im wrong) 3/4 that have gone wrong out of all the people that own them on here.......Thats not too bad.

actually that seems to be where all the focus is, you never hear of people saying how they use theres for 8 hours a day and a year later its still all fine and dandy. people only make posts when theres breaksdown to either share there anger or see if anyone could give them advice.
some people like corb are just unlucky and it will just break on them, but i bet that over half of faulty ones are down to user error: moving it while is running, putting it in a cramped place where it cannot keep itself cool, switching it off while its loading in games etc.
like dave17 said Its like with anything, you sell millions of a product, a percentage is bound to be faulty(around 8 million).ps3/360 are next gen consoles which are near enough computers and they have the power to prove it, just think how unreliable computers can be.

I think thats just unlucky But I can see that if you know someone that has had problem after problem with a 360, you are bound to not look too favourably upon them. Im the same with things myself TBH.

and i know of 5 people including me who have 360s and im the only one who had theres replaced as i moved it to standing up while a game was running.( my fault but didnt know that at the time)
now my mates and your mates probably represnt something silly like 0.010% of the 360 population so i wouldnt say its a good way of judging the 360's reliability.
look at the ps3, on launch alot were knackered as soon as they come out the box and you still of ps3s freezing up and they do get very hot(hotter than the 360) and theres about 200.000 ps3s in customers hands by now. im sure when they get close to 8 million faulty ones will still be coming off the line.
ps3 or 360, both are very complex and from time to time some will leave the factory faulty, and some owners who dont treat them right will break them aswell, but overall all this will be a very small number compared to the happy owners

Thats because you are a lovely lad Steve.
Will you be playing COD3 tonight? We had a pretty big CS team last night. Me and Bevan did a little dance and I also danced for Corb.

Yes, Walbhino(?), you did.
I showed my mate later on, and he almost wet himself laughing I think!
Jade, no way I was the same. You and me share so much in common.
We should sleep together.

god damm xbox just finished pretty much the last and hardest mission on dead rising go to save and the fucking thing gives me the "your disk is dirty" error fucking message again.
the disk is fine, and the system has been looked after amazingly well, guess ill get it exchanged.
you know its a great system but you pay £270 odd for something you at least expect it to work.
