The Mobo?
If it was me, I'd make sure the Mobo was the most future proof component, and then anything else thats an 'add-on' was as best as I could afford. Only reason being as upgrading other stuff is always easy, upgrading a MoBo is a little bit more of a pain.

Has 2x DVI outputs so shouldnt be a problem (would need a DVI to VGA convertor though).

Yup, would be a great system. Few upgrades in the future when things start getting slow and it'll still be great.

Although prices drop in the long term, in the short term prices fluctuate both ways.
Memory for instance is pennies atm.

Whats that come to Andy?
Only things I'd look at differently would be the MoBo and the GPU.

Yeh slightly over budget, you could drop the hdd to a smaller size one or a cheaper 500gb 16mb cache one. Cpu could change to e6750. You could get cheaper ram, but that stuff overclocks well and good warranty in the uk.

Slightly cheaper MoBo - Asus P5K Premium (£122.19)
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=659151
Slightly cheaper CPU - Intel E6750 (£114.56)
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130484
Could go cheaper with the GPU but I wouldnt if you didnt have to.

Drop the hdd to this aswell £59.99 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130454
With the changes Cosmo made and the HDD the total would be about £713
