constantly sparking, or do u just get one spark?
and there is fuel definitly getting to the plugs?
do u have an immobiliser on the car?
try this:-
get in the car, ignition off. put acceleraor pedal to the floor twice, ie two pumps to get petrol into the cylinders.
now the car over without touching the accelerator for about 5 secs, then v.gently feather the accelerator as if increasing engine rpm by 500rpm, hold it there.
i have to do this on my car cause the cold start valve is banjaxxed, but can be used on any older cars. basically its just a manual choke in that ur increasing the fuel mixture without flooding it

it gives it a longer run to start up
if the car towing is strong enough, then once you drop the clutch it will still be turning over even if it hasnt started - if you know what i mean!

I this problem a couple of years ago on my nova. turned out the gaps on the plugs needed adjusting.

Still no luck this morning then?
Bump starting may be worth a try.
On another occasion when mine wouldnt start my neighbour pushed mine down the drive and it started 1st time.
The problems i got were all because I drained my battery using an Air compressor and the Fan belt had been slipping so not charging properly. Since then I charged the battery and havent had a problem.

have you tried a newer battery?
like Gambit sed it might be a weak spark then the petrol could be making it too wet to even spark?
