I've just had a look to confirm my suspicions.

The code between mac and windows versions of adobe cs5 components is exactly the same with the exception of gui differences between the OS's.

Personally I prefer the full, hazlefree package. And will gladly pay for it the same way I would gladly pay for an Audi or BMW.

I've moved from 10.6.4 to 10.6.8 (via each sub release) and not had any problems.

One of the key reasons people go into a Mac store and play with for example a Macbook Air and think WOW this is quick is all down to the SSD. If you get a similar PC and shove a SSD in it, it will also fly its just a majority of PC manufacturers go for the cheaper end of the market and so don't have SSDs in them.

Been using the Mac for a few months at home and still getting used to it. Ironically I still use a lot of 'common' apps like Picassa as I don't like the way the Apple varients do things.

Hopefully will be putting an SSD in the next few weeks but considering the base machine cost me ~£200 + monitor and its performing like last years iMac, I'm quite happy

Not sure your car analogy works without stating what your comparing it to. An Audi compared to a Skoda is totally different to an Audi compared to a Peugeot

One thing to note is that with an Apple product it's all about the design (as well as the OS).

The design and quality of the hardware is amazing compared to most of the shite PCs out there.

You really do feel like you're using something luxury.

Is it just the Macbook Air that uses SSDs?

@simonpegg
What a pickle I'm in. I've got this link to a brilliant new virus but I'm afraid to tweet it in case people think I've been hacked again.
@simonpegg
The virus stops people who don't use Apple products from getting so fucking uptight about the people that do.

ish. Its just "PC" hardware in them most of the time.

Apple are good at Marketing - You only need to look at the new Timecapsule with its "Server" grade hard drive - 95% of people out there will think - WOW that must be really good so will go for one where in fact there is nothing to show that the hardware is a "Server" grade one at all.

I'm talking about the actual computer itself, the casing and design.

My laptop is so fast, when I press the power button I'm at the Windows login screen within one second!*

*this may be down to the fact Windows was in sleep mode...

You read and compared the whole source code of the Adobe CS just to answer your own question on a Corsa website
