I have never worried about that, just use manual sync? Its a small box you untick when you first plug ipod/ipad/iphone in. Its not hard.
I can control my itunes anywhere in my house from my iphone as a remote control, leaving my monitor on with artwork as a visual display too?
Dragging and dropping might be great but you can also do that on itunes! Just drag the files into the text field and it imports them.
Have any of you actualy used itunes?!

I used it quite a bit when I had my iPhone and I need to use it for other people all the time.
I can control anything from anywhere in my house.

Being an anti-apple propaganda machine you have convinced yourself its rubbish when the reality is that it works perfectly fine. Download music, sync to iPod/iPhone. Simple as that.

You need to add it to iTunes first and you can't have a very big library if you get it all to sync to the iPhone.

So you have to sort out what you want on the iPhone at some point, which is an extra step, hence drag and drop still being quicker.

i have to add it to itunes yes, but then all my music is neatly displayed in itunes and stored in my music folder.
you can select to choose what albums and songs to sink if you have a large quantity of music. (on mac you can anyway)

But you have to choose what ones to sync, giving an extra step.
They should have iTunes for the mac fanbois who like it then let everyone else drag and drop, would be much better.
