Your money is hard earned so why piss it away. You both get the same out of the house so put the same in.
Also, if your missus earns more than most folk then why cant she afford to pay 50/50?

fucking hell there is some whinging in here....
IMO, things should be split 50/50 whilst still as a girlfriend, and then if you get married that is when to combine wages into one account and deal with it that way.
It gets different for either marraige or if they wife has kids IMO, if she can afford to pay half before that she should.
My mrs earns more than me, and i'm happy to pay half on the bills.

If she earned the same as me she'd pay half. As she doesn't she pays less than half. Maybe I am old fashioned.
I'd cringe at asking my bird to pay half.
