Just had an email off the other estate agent saying a property has just come on to the market. Its the auction one that decided not to go ahead with!
Back on at £89,950 again, and still listed as an auction!

Yeah, I'm just surprised it is still listed as an auction and not up for say 105-110.
I was told the seller wanted a quick sale!!

Hope to have everything complete by the end of the month.
All the mess is from the tenant who is supposed to be moving out!

Picked up the keys this afternoon.
I couldn't remember if there was a fireplace upstairs as there was so much shit in the house. There is a fireplace base in the floor and you can see where they have boarded the fireplace up. So that needs opening back up.

Bath in bathroom is cast iron, I'd like to keep that if I can.
Nice treat behind the radiator in living room too. Knickers, sock and pink bra.
Seller has also bought me a bottle of wine and a card!

Bought a wallpaper stripper tonight. Was going to buy the B&Q own Performance brand for £24 but there was a Black & Decker one which a bigger capacity for £1 more, so went for that.
Also bought 2 10ltr tubs of Crown white paint. What utter shite! That will be off back tomorrow.
Managed to get a bit of wallpaper off. If I ever catch who wallpapered 3 times in this room I'll thump them.

I've painted loads with that crown white matt and found it to be fine, even painted the garage in it, 2 coats straight onto that airbrick stuff which I thought was quite good.

Just bought a bedroom fireplace surround. £70.
No back on it so going to do it a bit like this...

Although walls will be white and the bricks inside will be matt black.

Got the fireplace yesterday -

Still got the task of unboarding the fireplace and seeing what has been left behind. Think I'll favour this bedroom over the loft bedroom once done.

Made a start painting in the loft. Only done a base coat so far. Going to take a few coats to cover the yellow but it looks loads better already.

Bit of progress -
Base coat of paint in front and back bedrooms and bedroom fireplace opened up.
Taken ages filling the holes in the walls - There were god knows how many nails for hanging things and I keep finding more holes. Recessed a couple of sockets which weren't sunk in to the walls. Also demolished the living room fire place which is now looking a bit sorry for itself.
By no means finished, but people like pics. Another 2-3 coats to go on yet. Will be off back tonight to do more coats.
Front Bedroom -

Back bedroom -

Will be fitting Torus skirting throughout.
