the joke is, with the bumper on the iphone 4 it makes it almost look like a 3g / 3gs shape... defeats the point.
I'll prob get a iphone 4 just for the 720 vid and battery life... but it sounds like a bit of a shit phone really.

Storm 2 comes today, o2 have already switched my data over to gayberrys setup which is a pain.
If its not any good it'll be getting sold a long with the 3gs then ill have more than enough for a iphone 4 on Pay&Go.
Good way to get around paying £180 for a 4, just take out a gayberry contract, sell it and switch it back to o2 data and buy a pay and go 4. Win!

Loving my iphone 4. I get the drop in signal strength when holding the lower left of the casing.
Doesn't really bother me though as I will fit a case as I would break it working on cars and i'd scratch it at work like my old phone.
Just gotta wait for a jailbreak now.

I'll be surprised at the combination of that being true, you being told it, you being allowed to say about it and it not being anywhere else on the internet yet.

when the 3gs came out, it went out of stock straight away. it was back in stock within a few days.
the phone was out of stock by the pm of the 24th and is now uk bound for the 9th( second batch handsets).
as we have been told, delay is due to device component quality.
we shall see

The storm 2 arrived less than half an hour ago.
My simcard is back in the 3gs and the gayberry back in its box. Soon to be on Ebay!

So you've not been told they've changed the antena then.

she spilt coke over it and had to claim on insurance. Now got a black one (previous one was white) and she loves it!

John,
Perfect reply IMO
IF there is an official 'new version' out then this was a lucky guess!

Thats because 4.0.1 is just around the corner and said to fix these so called antenna problems.

the new firmware will just increase the reported signal strength. then when the handset drops calls, itll look like the fault of the network operator.
the scale of this issue, is massive. and i do mean massive.
so much so, we have been told that the delay in the next load of handsets is due to component issues.
watch this space.

That could mean they haven't got enough screen, or chips, or anything.
You don't know any more than the rest of us, possibly less.
