I live in Derby, study in Bournemouth & my fiancée studies in Aberystwyth.
So I do get about a bit. don't think of the obvious, just dig a little deeper even search flickr for names of places near you for inspiration.

Thanx matt.
I've always had a keen interest in photography even when I was a kid, but finally got a camera late October last year, as for post processing, I've used photoshop since PhotoShop-6.

Woahhhhhh that was a 7 day listing!

Is alot of photography in the camera and processing then? I use my cheap little Fuji but I do have access to a Nikon D40 too, I might rob that off my dad he never uses it?

good photography, is like music. obviously there are the fundementals but it can be down to personal taste.
a lot of die hard photographers dont like to much post processing, but my thoughts are, if it looks good or enchances the image why not?
If you've got access to a D40, give it a go, you'll either love it and take it upon yourself or you'll decide its not for you.
