Picked this up from Tesco at the weekend & it seems much better than 09 
As said, it does seem to give the advantage to attacking teams - like when a clearance or keepers kick is put through & the attacker can nod the ball on, whereas on the old game the defender would always make the clearance.

I dont do footy games but downloaded the demo to give it a go, seems pretty good Although i scored from miles out after just a few mins, was playing the rubbishest team on there mind

CHRIST THIS GAME IS MAKING ME ANGRY.
There seems to be an issue with this game that if you are winning 3-1 and doing really well all of a sudden your defenders will turn into ballet dancers and all be out of position and can't tackle to save their lives.

Bought this yesterday and some parts are different from the demo. As said, it's attacker orientated. Even the likes of Del Piero can tussle with the defenders and win a flick on. And curiously, Ronaldo is an 87, whereas Torres is an 88, Kaka an 88 (and actually faster than Ronaldo) and Messi a 90

Yep, I noticed Del Piero seemed to posses super human strength, now considering he should be picking up his pension he managed to shrug off two of my defenders and then out pace Liam Rosenior who has a very decent turn of pace in real life.
That was when the controller was thrown at the Xbox and I opened up into a tyrant of abuse at the cunting thing.

My ps3 controller has just been broken into a thousand bits (again) because of Mario Gomez being faster than Ivan Cordoba Tbh I am majorly disappointed with it. The players take a week to react to instructions, this new jostle for the ball thing is bullshit too. Players like Messi can't get past Jankalovski Last year was good, this year they've fucked it. Hope PES is good so I can go back to that.

Yeah TBH I'm moving over to the disapointed camp again, this version is fucking bent mate.
I've spoke to mates at work who have got it and mentioned the fact if you are winning it seems that their is an intiative with the loosing team and the ball falls to them 9 times out of 10 and the ball goes in the net off the back of their head etc.
