880mb isnt alot

i only have ADSL2+ just i downloaded it at 6.00 on the dot when im guessing not half as many people were downloading it, end of the day you can only download it as quick as apple servers can give it to you and if they are being hammered then it will be slow.

Something really wrong there. It should not take 2 and a half hours to update. It would take a while to download but not the actual update.

Check in iTunes preferences to see if there are any iPhone backups on your system. There should be one from when you plugged it in recently (unless you told it not to)


Downloaded in about 1 hour as i dont have the best interent speed but it was taking AGES to install then just turned itself off and thought it was a new phone so didnt even have the option to restore anything that was on it? just made me put it back to manufatury settings! Well ive plugged it in recently but never synced it will it still have saved anything??

And i didnt back it up to icloud because it keeps saying its unavailable? Dont know wether it makes any difference i only got a 3gs?

I know it stands for Everything Everywhere but not sure why it says it on my phone instead of Orange like it used to... is it just the same as when I've got no Orange signal it switches to Orange T-Mobile signal? I don't seem to get Orange signal at all any more now though, just EE.

Took fucking ages to download and install iOS 6 on my stuff! Left it overnight to do it's thing in the end.

Not sure about the Maps app, when you look at a satellite image of where I live it's all dark

And is there not a dedicated YouTube app on the iPad any more? I know you can download it for the iPhone, but haven't seen one by Google in the app store for the iPad yet.

Took me longer to go through the setup options than it did to download the update.

Phone seems to run quicker but im not keen on the new youtube app thing i had to download.

I've never noticed this before but on the web pages, bottom menu bar far right makes it go so you have more screen took at. Quite useful.

There's a bug on my iPad which means that it's constantly telling me to buy credit as I've got a Giffgaff sim in it and not an official O2 one. There's also a bug on my iPhone in maps where if I type in two postcodes to get directions, it always starts from my current GPS location.
