Google will stick turn by turn and 3D in the iOS app as soon as Apple bring out their own.

Yup - i think it will force their hand. Although I think apple will change the default Maps application to use their own tech meaning Google will either need to bring out their own App or just make it all accessible via the google app/ web.
I think Google will loose out, its catch 22 - try and get people over to Android by limiting function but then this encourages Apple do go their own way thus you loose the Apple market you have got.
Lots of roomers about WWDC. Personally would like a new Mac Mini and if they released a proper SDK for Apple TV I think they could start to see that grow massively

We have heard from a trusted source that Apple will be introducing a TV SDK at WWDC next week. This would enable third-party developers to create software for Apple’s TV products.

The maps app on an iPhone is an Apple product though, it just gets its data from the Google Maps API. Google charge for API access over a certain limit. There are millions of pople with iPhones. Apple exists as a business to make money.

This would probably be a wise move since they'll soon be bringing out out the their televisions. The apps would natively swap right over.

I'm just hoping for Retina MBA's.
iOS6 won't be released until iPhone 5 later this year anyway unless you register as a dev and then put up with it being really buggy at first.
Even when it is released it'll be a few months after that until it gets jailbroken before I use it so can't see it even being this year tbh.

I think this has already been spotted from various mac apps in the app store stating updates for retina graphics.

iPhone 5 will just come with some sort of update for iOS6. iOS6 will come out before.

iOS 5 was released on 12th October right before the 4S arrived two days later, won't be any different this year for iOS 6 and iPhone 5.

I would imagine so. You can get your device registered for £3 if you're that bothered about getting it tomorrow, I'm happy to wait.

this. Apple hardware release is Oct now, due to sales last time round they won't be changing this anytime soon and as mentioned an 8 month old device won't get replaced yet, yearly they update them, this has been the same ever since the first iPhone/iPad release.

Don't see why they wouldn't - the current model is more of an iPad 2S so something better should be in the pipeline?
