Nice work mate! Reminds me of when I did my house. Had a similar project thread on the go!

I took up 2 tiles from my kitchen floor. Why I hear you ask, why? Because they had cutouts for a decorative surround to the old oven, and now I'm moving the oven there were just two massive holes in the tiles. So I spent £2.39 on this tool from screwfix

Are carefully hacked away at the grout between the tiles. Had to cut the ply underneath it as well as I wasn't separating tile from ply but it worked well, no damage to surrounding tiles:

Popped down Wickes, new bit of ply to go under there, need to get an sds drill bit to put some new holes in the concrete.

Last weekend I make real good progress on the kitchen, fitted the oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cupboard around the boiler (needs a bit of boxing underneath), drawer fronts and doors fitted! Taking shape!!!

Electrics terminated up as well

Looking good pow pow, but I think you might have made slight calculation error on the sink and the dishwasher

Nope, bought that sink on purpose with the little bowl offset, so I'm not washing up in the corner. Normal two bowl sinks need a 600 cabinet but I only had room for a 500. Took forever to find a sink like that, then walked into IKEA one day and BAM it's there

Bit more progress for you, had my IKEA worktops fitted:

Also see the hood I fitted in that piccy

Plumbed in the sink:

Yes that grey waste is how it is by design, it's an IKEA trap and waste system.

Fitted my fridge:

Plan to move fully this weekend after a damn good clean.

Can't find the pictures but have also had the hob plumbed in and laid the two replacement tiles I took up. Did some boxing under the boiler as well! Got a kitchen delivery arriving tomorrow at work!

I was thinking the same thing.. That's probably the most likely place for a socket to suffer water ingress..

You're not likely to ever touch them but its worth re-thinking

Slowest kitchen install ever! I like the finish on the cupboard doors though, very nice.

Need to update this! Fully moved and busy making it a home. I seem to have gained a lodger as well

Going to smash some kitchen plinths on this weekend, bought a bathroom mirror/cupboard/demister which I need to put up. Need to start thinking about the bathroom too!
