Just connect the switched live out of the timer to the switched side of the pir (that will also have the live to the light in it). Will do what you want. I'd recommend a mechanical timer, I'm fed up of digital ones. would probably bang a cheapo alarm inside along with a dummy camera on the front. Wire the alarm to a flashing beacon to really draw attention to it when it goes off. Love the garage though, looks really good.

Got my corsa and mk3 supra to squeeze in there.
As for cost I'd say 15k should have covered everything. The only trades I used were for the foundations, brick work, and connect electrics
