'The battery life on the iPhone 4 has been outstanding thus far, exceeding our expectations for longevity during testing. We've had pretty amazing results under normal to heavy use. In fact, we managed to squeeze more than 38 hours -- yes, 38 hours -- of life out of a single charge using the phone as we normally would. We're talking calls, some gaming, lots of push email and calendar invites, playing music over Bluetooth in the car, and just general testing (like downloading new apps, rearranging icons, tweaking settings). We went from 10:30AM on a Saturday morning till 1: 00AM on Monday without needing to charge the phone'

My Desire isn't as bad as I was expecting it to be.
I get a full day out of it, push email, widgets running, live map background, on the internet etc.
Not close to the week I got out my old nokia but not 6 hours.
I'm sure I could run it down in 6 hours if I really tried.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet, apparently.

Apparently Week29 devices do have new glass and casing materials... Solves both reception and proximity issues.

The problem with an iPhone is it doesn't make you look l33t if you have one. If you've got a different device you can talk about how you can do this that and the other with your Droid phone to your IT geek mates while Apple owners have an interest in real life things that aren't on the Internet.

This! There's plenty of blog posts, forum threads and articles floating around that state that the iPhone 4 battery life isn't all that so like anything, you get people saying it's brilliant and then people slagging it.

Tbh I don't know if iPhone4 has flash...i just Google imaged one and had a look lol couldn't see a flash unless its hidden.
It does, the little dot next to the camera.
Fair enough, i stand corrected. Like i say, ive never seen one so was only speculating. Cant imagine its any good though, if its sooo small.

I don't bash it, quite the contrary. It's a damn good phone. But it's not the ONLY good smartphone like a lot of people seem to think. If you like the iPhone, you buy it. If not, the Desire (at the moment).

Na not you, I just meant in general. Seems people go out their way to bash it. I played with my mates, liked it, so got one. 7 months later no issues. Its a phone. Not that arsed about every detail. So long as it ticks the boxes I need.
