Well tbf i only watched a bit of Simpsons online on the Galaxy tab, it was an embedded player and seemed to work ok, if a little slow to load but that could just be becuase the wifi isnt as good as a home connection (was at work)

The thing with flash is that most is still optimised for use with mouse/keyboard, not touch so even if you made them all available, you still won't be able to use all of them.

HTML5 video has definately become more widespread since I first got the iPad though.
